Kilgallioch Wind Farm, Scotland, 2018

A team from our Rope Access division were mobilied to Kilgallioch Wind Farm to carry out essential maintenance work on a 2.3 megawatt wind turbine. The task involved external decontamination and insepcection works on a newly constructed wind turbine which measured 80m in height.

Access to the working areas was achieved using a team of IRATA trained rope access technicians using industrial rope access methods and techniques. The project was carried out safely and within the estimated time scale.
